Kristin Cabot was not one of those laughing at a tongue-in-cheek commercial from her former employer, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, about the controversy that upended her personal and professional life earlier this year.
In a pair of new interviews, Cabot called out Paltrow for getting involved in the instantly viral internet scandal that erupted when Cabot was seen in the arms of her married boss, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, at a Coldplay concert in July.
"I was such a fan of her company [Goop] which seemed to be about uplifting women,” Cabot told The Times in the U.K. “And then she did this. I thought, ‘How dare she after the beating she got for all the conscious uncoupling stuff.’ What a hypocrite.”
According to the Times, Cabot got rid of her Goop products in protest.
Cabot had been working as Astronomer's chief people officer when she was spotted on the so-called "kiss cam" with Byron in July. The two appeared mortified at the attention.
Coldplay's Chris Martin — Paltrow's ex-husband, from whom, as Cabot said, Paltrow "uncoupled" in 2014 — playfully called out their reactions from stage, joking that they might be having an "affair."
They both soon left their jobs as they became targets for endless memes, mockery and discussion about workplace ethics and the appropriateness of exposing personal behavior in public spaces.
In her new interviews, Cabot said she wanted to correct the record, echoing what a source close to her told PEOPLE in September.
She did not have a sexual affair with Byron, she said, and only kissed him the night of the concert.
She was already in the middle of leaving her own husband, Andrew; Byron, however, has since been seen publicly with his wife and wearing his wedding ring.

In the days immediately after the concert sparked controversy, Astronomer, a tech company, was thrust into the spotlight, too.
Paltrow, 53, tweaked all of the attention Astronomer was getting when she appeared in an ad that they released on July 25.
“I’ve been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer,” Paltrow said in the video, which was seen millions of times.

“We’ve been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation,” she added.
A source previously told PEOPLE that the commercial "came together very quickly" after Astronomer reached out to Paltrow.
“Gwyneth has a really great sense of humor," the source said then, "and it felt funny enough for her to do.”
