Since its premiere on March 1, DTF St. Louis has had the internet buzzing.
The HBO Max show chronicles the lives of three, middle-aged adults — Harbour, Linda Cardellini and Jason Bateman — tangled in a love triangle. Things get especially tricky when one of them ends up dead and authorities find out the death is linked to an app called "DTF St. Louis," which lets married people cheat on their spouses. The series then spirals into a "whodunit," revealing details about the trio (including Harbour's diagnosis of Peyronie's Disease, a penile curvature disorder that causes painful erections, loss of length and erectile dysfunction) and flashbacks that continue to keep viewers guessing about the next twist in the plot.
Offscreen, the cast has much less drama in their relationships. Ahead of the season finale Sunday, see the real-life loves of the cast of DTF St. Louis.

Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka go way back.
The pair first met back in 1988, when they were both teenagers, but their relationship didn't turn romantic until a decade later. "I just wasn't into where he was at," she explained to GQ in 2013, alluding to his partying phase back in the '80s.
The two began dating in 1998, but Bateman hadn't entirely left his old ways behind. “Amanda and I definitely had a few negotiations about the point at which the [partying] spigot was going to completely turn off,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “She’d be like, ‘This drip, drip, drip is annoyingly unpredictable, Jason.’” That was all he needed.
He went California sober and the two got married in 2001. They welcomed their first child, Francesca "Franny" Nora, in October 2006 and added to their family again in February 2012 when their second daughter, Maple, arrived.
Though Bateman and Anka have mostly kept their family life out of the spotlight, their two girls accompanied them to premiere of Bateman's Black Rabbit at the Toronto International Film Festival last September.
"Being a father of two is everything I wanted," he raved to Redbook in 2013. "I'm a big fan of marriage and being a dad. And my wife, Amanda, makes those things easy. She spoils me; she makes the husband part simple."

Like Bateman and Anka, Linda Cardellini first met her husband, makeup artist Steven Rodriguez, when they were still kids. The two first met in elementary school, where Cardellini had a huge crush on Rodriguez.
“He was 11. He was the new kid at my school,” she told PEOPLE back in 2013. “He could do amazing bike tricks and I was impressed. Not afraid to say it.”
However, they didn't start dating until 2010.
“We’ve been friends for years and years and it was not even three years that we got together and realized that we should’ve been doing that all along,” she told PEOPLE. “It didn’t take long to figure out we were amazing friends and we could probably be great partners.”
The low-key couple have kept most of the details of their relationship private, though they shared the arrival of their daughter Lilah-Rose in February 2012, and got engaged in June the following year.

David Harbour was previously married to singer Lily Allen, to whom he was first linked in 2019. They wed in a Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator in September 2020.
In February 2025, however, news broke that Harbour and Allen were going their separate ways, with a source telling PEOPLE, "Her marriage has been crumbling and they have split."
In October, the singer released an album titled, West End Girl, featuring songs such as "Sleepwalking" and "Dallas Major," that fueled rumors there had been some infidelity within the marriage. Asked if the tunes were direct references to her marriage, Allen told British Vogue, "There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel. It is inspired by what went on in the relationship."
A rep for Harbour did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Peter Sarsgaard and his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal's 25-year romance has stood the test of time.
The actor, who appeared in three episodes of the show as Christopher Spurce, first met Gyllenhaal at a dinner in 2001. Five years later in 2006, the couple were not only engaged, but were also expecting their first child together. Gyllenhaal gave birth to their daughter Ramona in October 2006.
The couple hit another milestone in 2009, saying "I Do" in an intimate wedding held in front of 40 friends and family members in Puglia, Italy. The duo went on to welcome their second child, a girl they named Gloria Ray, on April 19, 2012.
In 2024, Saarsgard revealed how being working actors is an asset to his marriage.
"I think it would be a lot more difficult to be married to someone who had a more consistent type of employment in one place," he told PEOPLE. "We take turns in terms of our work. Let someone have their dance and then you take your dance."
