Princess Charlotte will want to know all about dad Prince William's latest project!
The Prince of Wales, 43, teamed up with English soccer star Jill Scott for a surprise video. The duo celebrated 100 years of Fields in Trust, a charity dedicated to protecting green spaces such as parks, playgrounds and sports fields.
The project will likely earn Prince William some cool dad points with his three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — who are all soccer fans. Charlotte, in particular, is known to follow England's women's soccer squad, and the father-daughter pair had a special outing over the summer, traveling to Switzerland together to support England in the final of the UEFA Women's EURO 2025.
Even when she's not in the stands, Princess Charlotte is known to share her support for the country's female team. She's joined Prince William in multiple videos shared on social media to wish the Lionesses luck ahead of a big game.
Prince William has also shared messages from his daughter during his meetings with the athletes. During a 2022 training session, the royal heir told the team, "Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal. She said, 'Please tell them that.' She's a budding star for the future."

In the new footage, Prince William and Scott, 38, explore Windlesham Field of Remembrance Park and discuss how important it is to maintain outdoor spaces.
Scott told the royal, "A lot of my childhood was just going to the local park, playing football. Without them green spaces, I probably would never have gone on to play football at any level. They're just so important."
Prince William said, "Having access to fresh air, a bit of peace and quiet, greenery, is so good for our minds and bodies. You need to have that space. You need to have that in as many communities as you can."
The Prince of Wales and the athlete then greeted children playing soccer, each picking a side to back.
"We have to beat Jill," William, who is known to have a competitive side, told the green squad.
However, Jill's team was ahead when the final whistle blew, prompting the royal to quip, "We can't stop yet," while she celebrated the victory.
As they watched from the sidelines, Prince William also commented, "It's great to see so many girls out playing football."

Prince William and Kate Middleton are longtime advocates of getting outdoors, and they've introduced their three kids to the same philosophy, encouraging their family to get outside rain or shine. The Princess of Wales, 43, once revealed in a podcast interview that her favorite times with her family are "outside in the countryside, and we're all filthy dirty."
The benefits of spending time in nature have taken on an even deeper meaning for Princess Kate since her cancer diagnosis. She's openly shared how it's helped her recovery, released a series of Mother Nature videos expanding on the theme and gave a glimpse at their outdoorsy family life in the video she released in September 2024 that publicly announced that she had finished her cancer treatment. In it, the royal couple and their children were seen enjoying the forests, running through sand dunes and exploring the beach in Norfolk.
