Imagine being able to say you got to date your celebrity crush? Well, these A-listers can.

Hailey Bieber briefly met future husbandJustin Bieber backstage in November 2009 when they were both kids, but it would be years before they reconnected and ultimately tied the knot (twice!). Other now-married couples, including Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher and Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, got the chance to work together, which led to a unique bond even before they began dating.

Though Jason Momoa’s union with former crush Lisa Bonetended in divorce, the two are still good friends, proving that no matter the ending, sometimes it’s worth taking a chance on your celeb crush.

Hailey and Justin had been friends since they were young teenagers, long before they confirmed their relationship had turned into something more with a kissing New Year’s Eve pic in 2016.

The model and “Daisies” singer briefly split later that year before getting back together in 2018 and marrying in a civil ceremony in New York City that September, followed by a larger wedding and reception in South Carolina in September 2019.

“Marrying Justin is Hailey’s dream come true,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE exclusively in October 2019. “She always had a crush on him, and she was so happy and excited when they got a bit older and dated.”

The Biebers welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, in August 2024, and celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary with a carousel of adorable snaps on Instagram in 2026.

The Supergirl star made it happen! Momoa called his then-wife, Bonet, “literally my childhood crush” after falling for her as a kid while watching The Cosby Show.

“I’m a full-fledged stalker,” he told James Corden in 2017. “I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies; otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird. But yeah, [I’d] just always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always.”

Two years later, Momoa was still thrilled to be married to his dream girl, telling Esquire in October 2019: “If someone says something isn’t possible. I’m like, ‘Listen here, I married Lisa Bonet. Anything is f---ing possible.’ ”

Momoa and Bonet, who share two kids — a daughter, Lola, and a son, Nakoa-Wolf — announced their separation in January 2022 after five years of marriage. Their divorce was granted two years later in 2024. They had been together for 16 years and remain amicable.

In 2001, Kunis told PEOPLE that her first kiss was a scripted smooch with her That ‘70s Showcostar and future husband, Kutcher.

“I was like, ‘Oh, he’s so cute, it’s the Calvin Klein model!’ ” Kunis said of Kutcher. “Then I was like, ‘I have to kiss him?’ I was so nervous and uncomfortable. I had the biggest crush on him.”

Though they’d known each other since 1998, it would be 15 years before they started dating off-camera in early 2012.

Kutcher admitted to having always cared for Kunis as well, telling Esquirein January 2023, “The thing about Mila that made our relationship accelerate was that I had always admired her. Her talents, her skills, her gifts. But I knew that she didn’t need me. And she knew that I didn’t need her.”

They wed in a private secret garden ceremony on July 4, 2015. The actors are now parents of two — they welcomed daughter Wyatt Isabelle in October 2014 and son Dimitri Portwood in November 2016.

“He stalked me — isn’t that romantic?” Kimberly Williams-Paisley joked about her now-husband on Good Morning America in December 2018. “And it could have ended in jail or marriage, and I was like, ‘Alright, I’ll marry you.’ ”

Brad Paisley’s crush began when he saw Williams-Paisley in 1991’s Father of the Bride. A decade later, the country star cast her in his music video for “I’m Gonna Miss Her (the Fishing Song).”

The two clearly hit a high note, as they said “I do” in March 2003 and later welcomed two sons, William Huckleberry and Jasper Warren, born in February 2007 and April 2009, respectively.

During an appearance on TV One’s Uncensored in October 2018, Nick Cannon admitted to having his eye on pop icon Mariah Carey long before they dated.

“At one point, I was like, ‘I’ma get Mariah Carey,’ ” the Masked Singer host recalled. “It turned from my celebrity crush to like, ‘Nah, she’s about to be my girlfriend.’ People were like, ‘You’re bugging. There’s no way you can get Mariah Carey.’ I was like, ‘Watch, I’m telling you.’ ”

The couple eventually got together and wed in April 2008. They welcomed two children, twins Moroccan and Monroe, in April 2011 before splitting in 2014 after six years of marriage.

She calls it as she sees it! Nearly one year before she started dating her now-husband, Katherine Schwarzenegger called him her favorite “Hollywood Chris.”

In an interview with Access Hollywoodin August 2017, the Kat and Brandy author was asked who she’d be interested in: Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth or Chris Evans.

“Chris Evans,” she said, before retracting her response. “Actually, Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt has been looking good lately, so you never know!”

Schwarzenegger and Pratt were first romantically linked in the summer of 2018. They tied the knot in June 2019 and have since welcomed three children: daughters Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina and son Ford Fitzgerald. Pratt is also father to an older son, Jack, with ex-wife and actress Anna Faris, from whom he split in 2017.

PEOPLE played a role in Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara’s love story. In June 2014, Joe revealed to PEOPLE that his “celebrity crush” was Vergara.

When they started dating a few months later, the Modern Family alum teased him about the admission, per E! News.

“I’ve had a crush on Sofia for years,” Manganiello later told News.com.au in June 2015. “Actually, all my friends knew about it to the point where just before she was to announce she was going to be single again, my friend, the editor of PEOPLE magazine [then Jess Cagle], told me before he was to release a public statement to the masses.”

The Magic Mike actor continued, “So he sent it to me first to warn me that there’s going to be a line of guys going after her. He wrote to me, ‘I want you to get there first. Go get her!’ ”

Manganiello did, and the two wed in Palm Beach, Fla., in November 2015, though they later called it quits in July 2023 after seven years of marriage. The exes finalized their divorce in April 2024.

Though they’ve since split, Cody Simpson wasn’t afraid of the climb to Miley Cyrus’ heart. In a 2012 interview, a 15-year-old Simpson said that the “Flowers” singer “has always been my childhood celebrity crush.”

“I knew all the words to her songs, I’m not gonna lie. I’m not ashamed about it, at all,” he said at the time. “I was a big Miley Cyrus fan. I think she will be, forever, the most dateable Disney star.”

The two first met when they were 18 but lost touch for a few years. After reconnecting, they dated for 10 months before breaking up in 2020.

It was a dream come true when Josh Duhamel met Fergie — literally.

“I had read in a magazine that he had a naughty dream about me,” the former Kids Incorporated actress reportedly told Playboy in 2007.

The two later bumped into each other on the set of Duhamel’s show Las Vegas when she was performing with her band, the Black Eyed Peas.

“After they finished rehearsing, I was walking out, and all of a sudden she was walking toward me,” Duhamel told Best Life in 2007. “I was like, Oh boy. She stopped. And this is so sad, but I said, in this desperate voice, ‘You’re hot!’ ”

“The crush of a lifetime, and that was my line!” he said of the 2004 encounter. “But then an interesting thing happened. She replied, ‘Yeah, I read InStyle. So … how was I in your dream?’ ”

The pickup line worked, and they started dating that year. Duhamel and Fergie wed at a vineyard in Malibu in January 2009, welcomed son Axl in August 2013 and announced their split in September 2017 after eight years of marriage.

Their divorce was finalized in November 2019, and they’ve since settled into a co-parenting groove.

“It was a huge sort of shift because she was a massive star at the time, and it was a big adjustment for me, if I’m being honest,” the Ransom Canyon star said on a March 2026 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show. “But you know, Fergie is a very normal person at the end of the day. Good mom. We have a great relationship; she and my wife actually get along.”

David Beckham has long known that Victoria Beckham (née Adams) was the one for him.

In 2008, the retired soccer star told Ellen DeGeneres he knew he wanted to marry Victoria after seeing the Spice Girls on television.

“I was in a hotel room with my best friend, who was my best man at my wedding,” he said. “I remember turning around — before I’d even met Victoria — and said, ‘I want to marry that one.’ ”

After meeting at a soccer match in 1997, David and Victoria began dating, and they did indeed make it to the altar in July 1999. The Beckhams have four children: sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.

In a November 2004 essay for O, The Oprah Magazine,theScarpettastar remembered the first time she saw a photo of her soon-to-be husband in an issue of Rolling Stone, in a feature promoting his 1984 film This Is Spinal Tap.

“I looked at the man on the right, wearing a plaid shirt and a waggish smirk. I’d never seen him before, but I pointed at him. ‘I’m going to marry that man,’ ” the Oscar-winning actress told her friend.

Curtis and Guest wed in December 1984, after only five months of dating. The Hollywood icons are also parents of two daughters: Annie and Ruby.

In a 2015 Watch What Happens Live appearance with her Fantastic Four costars, Kate Mara was unknowingly psychic. When host Andy Cohen asked Mara which of her castmates she would “marry,” “shag” and “kill,” she replied without hesitation: “I’m going to marry Jamie.”

Sure enough, Mara and Jamie Bellmarried in a surprise ceremony in July 2017, and they later welcomed two children, a girl and a boy, whose names they have not revealed. Bell also has an older child, son Jack, with ex-wifeEvan Rachel Wood.

In September 2025, a decade after that initial WWHL admission, Mara told Ted Danson during an appearance on his podcast, Where Everybody Knows Your Name, that she had actually tried to set Bell up with other people.

“I just thought he was the best, and he was single, and I was trying to set him up with all these people,” she recalled. “I thought, ‘I gotta set him up with someone. He’s the biggest catch. How is he not with someone amazing?’ ”

Between his 98 Degrees days, solo career and Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, his reality show with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, Nick used to visit TRL a lot, meaning he was a guest both when Carson Daly was a solo host and when Vanessa joined the MTV video countdown show.

Nothing happened between them until Nick and Simpson split in November 2005 and finalized their divorce in June 2006, and the singer asked Vanessa to star in the music video for “What’s Left of Me,” from his second solo album of the same name. According to Billboard, the pair’s chemistry was so strong that Vanessa wasn’t even on set the day Nick promoted the video on TRL — and marked the start of their relationship.

“That’s what made it no longer friends, and it got romantic. To the point that if you go back and look at the video, when he came to premiere it, I was so nervous and so crushing him that I didn’t show up for work that day.
