The feud between fellow Traitors Rob Rausch and Candiace Dillard Bassett reached new heights in the Feb. 5 episode of The Traitors

The drama began between Rob R. and Candiace when Rob R. helped get their fellow Traitor Lisa Rinna banished from the show last week

New episodes air Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock

Candiace Dillard Bassett went snake hunting — and got bit.

On the Thursday, Feb. 5, episode of The Traitors, the Real Housewives of Potomac alum, 39, was banished from the castle after failing to point the Faithfuls towards voting out her fellow Traitor Rob Rausch.

"I am proud of how I played this game," Candiace said in a confessional. "It was really challenging to have to lie. I really started to love everybody, and that's what I think stings the most. I'm confident they're going to look at Rob, and in the event that they don't, joke is on them. Good luck to you all."

At the beginning of the episode, Candiace expressed her distrust of Rob R., 27, after he helped get their fellow Traitor Lisa Rinna banished during last week's roundtable.

"Rob is very clearly the dangerous type that will look you in your face and stab you in your back as you're walking away," Candiace said. "I have to play it cool."

At the turret, host Alan Cumming told Candiace and Rob R. that they had the option of murdering a Faithful as usual or recruiting one of them to join them as a Traitor. Rob R. ultimately gave Candiace the decision to murder Colton Underwood, without telling her that Colton had already stirred suspicion amongst the other players that she could be a Traitor.

"He has spoken to people that he is suspicious about her, and killing him will draw a direct line to her," Rob R. said.

Ahead of the roundtable, Candaice sat down with Rob R. and asked why she's been hearing her name brought up.

"I've heard it from almost everyone," Rob R. told her. "I'm not going to push for you this roundtable."

To that, Candiace said, "I feel like you already are."

Candiace told Rob R. "it would be convenient" that he allowed her to murder Colton if he knew Colton "was saying my name."

Rob R. told Candiace it seemed like she didn't trust him, to which she responded, "I didn't say that. We have different values."

Rob R. added that he feels like Candiace is "taking this game very personally. This is a game."

"It is, and you are a snake," Candiace told him. "I see what you're doing, but I also want you to know that if I get banished tonight, your name is going to come up."

In a confessional, Candiace said, "I'm not raging, because a queen never comes off her throne."

"I am simply serving the dish that was served to me," she said. "If you want to play dirty and foul and roll around in the gutter, I'm going to play the game with you and do it with a relatively cool head."

While battling for her life at the roundtable, Candiace floated Rob R.'s name to the group.

"When we walked in and sat for breakfast, we were all kind of postulating as to why Colton, what would be the reason? I thought it was interesting that Rob was fumbling and seemed a bit nervous," she said. "He dropped his fork and hit something on the table. It's interesting because you've always been this measured, calm, quiet person who doesn't seem to be easily upset or floundered."

Defending himself, Rob R. said, "I wasn't nervous. I was upset. I was, as most of you know, really close with Colton. Yeah, I dropped my fork, but I think I've dropped a lot of forks in my life to be fair."

Ultimately, Candiace was banished in a near-unanimous vote. As she left, she told the players, “I love you all so much."

"This experience has been life-changing," she said. "I've never been in a situation where I connected with so many people so quickly. I feel like I played this game with valor, with love, with respect ... and with treachery because I am a Traitor.”

The episode ended with Rob R. recruiting Eric Nam to be a Traitor with him.

New episodes of The Traitors air every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
