Venus Williams debuted a blunt bob with sharp bangs at the Lacoste show during Paris Fashion Week on October 4.
She wore a blue two-piece set and a matching jacket for the outing.

Venus Williams is back to the bob.
The tennis star has been switching back and forth between long, luscious layers and a fierce, sharp cropped look for a few months now, proving that instead of one signature look, you can have two.

Stepping out for the Lacoste show during Paris Fashion Week on October 4, the 46-year-old athlete rocked a striking blunt bob with a set of ultra-sharp, thick bangs. The no-nonsense ‘do went perfectly with her sporty ensemble for the fashion show—a deep blue knit polo top, matching microshorts, and a matching long jacket.

Williams’s new hair marks a major change from her recent long layers, which she wore piled atop her head for the Met Gala in May, and with blunt bangs last October. She also wore her hair swept into an elegant old Hollywood-esque updo for her wedding last September.

However, it’s not the first time Williams has opted for a bob moment. In May, she rocked a similar blunt bob and bangs with a bright pink latex gown for a red carpet event. A few days earlier, she showed off the same ‘do at a pre-Met Gala party with husband Andrea Preti.

For Williams, it’s clear the only real constant is change—at least when it comes to her hair. “There’s moments where I want to play with my hair,” she explained to Ebony back in 2024. “And sometimes I just want to put it away and not bring it out.”
She added, “I just have fun with my hair. I’ve straightened it. I’ve done extensions, infusions, all of that. It’s fun and it grows back.”
