Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer, were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14.

According to reports, the couple "suffered lacerations consistent with a knife."

Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the deaths, according to ABC News.

Who Was Michele Singer Reiner?

Rob Reiner met his second wife, Michele Singer, while filming the classic When Harry Met Sally.

Reiner later admitted to changing the ending of the beloved film after meeting and falling in love with Singer.

"I’d been married for ten years. I’d been single for ten years, and I couldn’t figure out how I was ever going to be with anybody," Reiner said in an interview with Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on CNN. "That gave birth to When Harry Met Sally. I hadn’t met anybody, so it was going to be the two of them seeing each other after years, talking, and then walking away from each other."

"The original ending of the film that we had was that Harry and Sally didn’t get together," he revealed, though fans of the Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan classic know that's not what happened in the film.

Reiner and Singer quickly fell in love and married in 1989—the same year of the film's release. After tying the knot, the couple welcomed three children: son Jake in 1991, son Nick in 1993, and daughter Romy in 1997.

The A Few Good Men director was previously married to the late Penny Marshall. During their marriage, Reiner adopted her daughter, Tracy Reiner, from a previously relationship.

Singer has worked as a photographer and famously captured the photo of Donald Trump that appears on the cover of his The Art of the Deal, according to Variety.
